Old Masters:
This rare process creates a unique and timeless classic piece of art. Our Old Masters Portrait has a subtle look and an additional level of hand artwork that give the look and feel of an oil painting in the tradition of the Old Masters. Just as those portraits have become family heirlooms, so will yours! These portraits take many more hours than our Legacy portraits, and this is evident in the final result. We embrace the beauty and grace of traditional posing and timeless clothing to allow the subjects expression and personality to become the focal point of the portrait.
The Legacy Portrait:
These portraits are the fusion of photography and art. This intricate process involves tremendous attention to detail, adding hand brush strokes, color and highlights while following the tradition of the Master Portrait painters such as Rembrandt, Gainsborough and West. RedHead Studios has taken portraiture to a level that has never been reached by any freehand portrait painter. At the simplest level, we have created a method of enchanting photographic images with hand-applied artistic touches, resulting in timeless portraits indistinguishable from oil paintings.
